Retirement Living at an Affordable Price
THE LELAND HOME is a private non-profit
corporation which has been providing retirement living and nursing care to
seniors since 1892. It has room for 39 residents and is staffed by licensed nurses 24
hours each day The original structure (a charming and gracious example of
Colonial Revival architecture)
is complemented by two brick additions, the Davis and Luce houses. The
residence includes a small
Nursing Care Center for residents who have health conditions that require
nursing supervision or who have
extensive personal care needs. Almost all of our rooms are private, and
most of them have half or full baths.
SERVICES PROVIDED INCLUDE:
Residential Care (32 beds all private, most with private bath)
- Three full meals each day
- Medication management
- Assistance with bath or shower
- Weekly individualized laundry service
- Housekeeping services for each room
- Activities and special events
- Utilities, except for telephone and cable
- A smoke-free environment
- Additional personal care as needed
Nursing Care Center (2 private rooms with private baths,
3 semi-private rooms)
- All services listed above
- 24-hour, 7-day a week nursing supervision (RN
and LPN)
- Extensive personal care assistance based on
plan of care
- Limited nursing treatments, such as dressing
changes
APPLICANTS must be at least 65 years of age and must be
able to meet the financial requirements necessary for residency.
