The Leland Home is a small, comfortable senior living residence which offers seniors a continuum of care within its facility at reasonable monthly costs.
	Independent Living Residents enjoy delicious, nutritional home-cooked meals, the convenience of laundry and housekeeping services, a variety of activity programs, and help with medications. Independent living residents and their families have the added security of knowing that nurses are on staff 24-hours a day, 7 days a week to respond to medical needs - a service that is not available in most assisted living residences.

	Independent Living with Personal Care Assistance The Leland Home is a licensed residential care facility that offers personal care assistance to residents who need help with activities of daily living such as dressing, walking, bathing, etc. A dedicated group of certified nursing assistants—many of whom have worked at the Leland Home for years—provide personalized assistance. In addition, our experienced nurses are authorized to administer medications and monitor the health and well being of our residents.

	Nursing Care Our residence promotes aging in place, that is, our residents can continue to live at The Leland Home as their needs change. Residents who require nursing care services have priority access to the Home’s 8-bed, on-site nursing care center. Our home-like center provides full assistance with daily tasks at a cost significantly below larger, institutional nursing facilities. Our small scale, friendly environment and dedicated staff combine to provide our residents with a sense of well-being and security. We take pride in giving the kind of individualized attention and assistance that you would want for yourself or a family member. The Leland Home is truly a caring community where residents and staff enjoy each other’s company. Offering the many amenities of home is what sets us apart from today’s typical assisted living residence or nursing care facility.

	The friendly front porch invites residents and visitors to “sit a spell” and enjoy the pleasant setting.
	Our residents enjoy social and recreational activities in the Leland Home’s Nichols Solarium. The William Stanley Senior Center (our neighbor next door) offers many community programs that are also open to our residents.

	The Leland Home is a not-for-profit residence governed by a Board of Directors comprised of civic leaders, business professionals, and other volunteers. Our managerial staff has extensive experience in aging, senior living, and long term care. In addition, the Leland Home draws upon the energy of more than 75 volunteers including clergy and congregants, students from area schools and colleges, family, friends, and citizens.
